The event, centered around Trump signing an executive order to cut back the federal workforce, quickly took an unexpected turn when Musk brought his young son along. What could have been a routine political spectacle morphed into a meme-worthy moment as Little X stole the show—and Trump’s patience.
Musk, who heads the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), addressed reporters with his usual flair. “Your tax dollars need to be spent wisely. It’s just common sense,” Musk declared, attempting to make his case. However, the audience found it hard to focus as X stood atop the presidential desk, picked his nose, and mimicked his father’s every move. At one point, Trump awkwardly chimed in, calling the boy “a high IQ individual”.

However, not everyone was amused. Grimes, musician and Musk’s ex-partner, expressed her discontent over her son’s surprise TV presence. Taking to social media, she admitted she had no idea X would be at the White House. Despite her disapproval, she acknowledged her son’s behavior: “But I’m glad he was polite. Sigh”.
